After The Mountain Pine Beetle: Developing an Economic Base for The Future

Resources North Association was awarded funding through Western Economic Diversification Canada to deliver a workshop in March 2010 on establishing biomass energy systems as economic diversification options for communities of central BC affected by the mountain pine beetle epidemic.  Numerous partnerships were established to organize and deliver a workshop that addressed current issues, community needs, and relevant information and technologies to make this a successful event.

GUIDO: Bioenergy Information Guide - we are currently partnering with BC Bioenergy Network, Green Heat Initiative, the Ministry of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources and the Ministry of Forests and Range to update this guide so that it will be also be available for distribution to workshop participants and any interested parties.  Chapter 3: Funding Sources was updated and made available at the workshop.

FIELD TOUR & TRADESHOW – Day 1 (Mar. 2/10)
