Fostering Climate Change Education
The purpose of BC Climate Change Exchange is to facilitate interaction between the various government, civil society and private sector organizations in BC engaged in public education and outreach on climate change, impacts and solutions.
The objectives of the BC Climate Exchange are:
- Facilitating access to public education and outreach resources on climate change.
- Building on activities undertaken by existing public education and outreach organizations in areas such as transportation and education.
- Increasing the capacity of BC organizations for delivery of climate change public education and outreach activities among BC organizations.
- Identifying and developing strategies to address the emerging needs of the climate change public education and outreach community.
The BC Climate Exchange is a program of the Fraser Basin Council and is funded by the BC Ministry of Environment.
